Almost ready to come out in the world again!

It’s been a long couple of years, first Mothers day of 2006 and then Patriots day of 2007.

Terry’s new home is almost complete! This is what our new home looked like this spring;

I need to take some pictures of the completed house (minus the Garage). We are just finishing up the last few things.

I plan on posting the MOT Pictures of this year soon, lol.

And soon to a MINI event! Terry got me some new Gage’s for SIZE-XS so now all I have to do is find time to do the install!!

Kitchen Cabinets are Great!!!

This week Terry and I have the kitchen going together.

We still need the countertops and if we can get the plumber over with the sinks then we can continue on.

MAMA Does IKEA II

On February 10th MAMA will be hosting the 2nd anual run.

MAMA will be meeting at the New Haven, CT IKEA store at the entrance around 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th. For more information see the MAMA Site. I am going to be broke after this event as Terry wants to outfit our new home!!! Hope to see you there.

Home is starting to come together

An update for everyone. As you know, Terry and I lost our house last Mothersday during a flood. We have been rebuilding since then. Here is the current state of our new home.

SIZE-XS Needs Some Help

I scheduled an appointment at MINI of Peabody today to have the clutch looked at. It would make a rattling sound in neural while idling. When they inspected it I was told that I have on of the defective flywheels and will need a new one and clutch etc. All under warranty of course. As I did not have time today and it is not broken yet Chris flushed the break fluid and changed the oil for free. I must re-schedule to soon.

Tomorrow I get some new tires again. I liked the Toyo Proxes 4 so much I am going to get another set at Town Fair Tire.

Hopefully I will have the house ready to move in soon so that I can update the site.

Come to MAMA IV

Yesterday Terry and I went to MAMA IV. It was a great time seeing old friends and new.

We picked up a group of MINIs in Milford.

One drove a long way!!!

We took off to rendezvous with all of the other participants

When we arrived we did see a counterfeit MINI

We all receive a CD for our ride through the NH countryside

We found a covered bridge

It was another great time. We would like to thank Rick + Laurie, John + Maureen for a most wonderful time.

Beam Work

A Few days ago Terry and I had the beams put in on our first floor. We wanted to share with everyone what they look like.

After this weekend we should have the 2nd floor complete!!!

Jake gets his Trident

I flew out to Coronado Island last Thursday to see my son Jake receive his Trident.

It was a great day for the graduation.

We witnessed many things at the famous Grinder!!

Lots of Wood

This weekend has been busy. The beams for the post and beam structure were delivered and we had to smooth them out.

It is a lot of work but will look really great when it is finished.

First Floor Walls complete

Yesterday the rain held out enough to get the last of the exterior walls up on our new house.

Next we have to place the 10x10’s and 6x6’s for the ceiling/2nd story floor structure.

They will look like this when completed.

The floor to floor height is set to 10 feet. I don’t want to bump my head..

I am glad that MAMA IV is approaching fast.

It will be a nice break in the action here in Merrimack.

Walls are going up

Last weekend we finally started to get the house rebuilding moving forward. Some excellent framers came over and put up 3 new walls.

It sure will be nice living in a home again!!! Then Terry and i can go on many MINI runs again.

New Addition foundation is in

Everything went well yesterday with the concrete pour.

The truck was on time

We were not quite ready

It was a quick fast 8.5 yards

In the end it came out very well

The new Basement Floor is done and the walls will go up today

My brother Shaun got to floor done on the new addition and today we will have the walls poured. Things are moving along!!!

Can’t wait to be back in a house again. Trailer living isn’t for me!!!

Terry and my home coming down

Haven't had a lot of time to post anything due to the coordination of rebuilding Terry and my home. Two weekends ago we completed the removal of the structure. Here are a few shots of what our home looks like today. The guy with the ponytail and beard is my brother Shaun.
